WHAT TO WEAR / WHAT TO BRING

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Dress to get wet (including footwear). The water is always cold. Good first layer: Shorts, tee-shirt, old tennis shoes. For colder days, young ones or those prone to cold or water fight: Fleece top, rain jacket, rain pants. (Guides have dry bags for these extra clothes.) Avoid cotton-wear. Wet, it provides no warmth. For sunny days: Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and water bottle. We urge a full change of clothes, shoes, and towel at trip's end. If you're on medication, bring it.
