Dress
to get wet (including footwear). The water is always cold. Good first
layer: Shorts, tee-shirt, old tennis shoes. For colder days, young ones
or those prone to cold or water fight: Fleece top, rain jacket, rain
pants. (Guides have dry bags for these extra clothes.) Avoid cotton-wear.
Wet, it provides no warmth. For sunny days: Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat
and water bottle. We urge a full change of clothes, shoes, and towel
at trip's end. If you're on medication, bring it.
